Roland Kent Lavoie, better known by the stage name LOBO, is an American singer-songwriter with folk-country flavored hits like “I’d Love You To Want Me”, “Don’t Expect Me To Be Your Friend”, “Me and You and A Dog Named Boo” won positions in the US’s Top Listings on “Adult Contemporary” radio stations. Over a four-year period in the 1970s, LOBO made the singles chart 14 times, and his Top 40 hits seem never ending.
