have anyone been following the junksounds 2009 voting pool?
okay for those of you that don't follow it, its basically some
kind of thing where artists or bands(asian) are nominated and
then voted for certain categories. categories like, best live
act, or album of the year.
well the junksounds just ended and the results are out.
almost every category, indonesian bands won.
there's like 10 categories, only one had a malaysian victor, the
rest are indonesian acts. see for yourself.here's the site of the

it surprised me as well, i mean, i really didnt know what to make
of these. singaporean bands were nominated as well, but none won.
the closest anyone got was "for better endings" being first
runner up to the best breakthrough act category. (a vacant affair
got second runner up to two categories though)
i don't know, but my theory is, we either just didnt know about
this, or just lazy or too busy to vote.
