SYNOPSIS
Singapore Entertainment Awards 2011 (SEA)
After raising the decibels in 2010, Singapore Entertainment
Awards makes a comeback for another awesome blast!
Following its astounding success last year, the Awards will be
moving into its 3rd year in 2011. Organised by Singapore Press
Holdings' Chinese media Lianhe Wanbao, Radio 100.3, omy.sg and
UW (U-Weekly), the objective of the SEA is to support the
Chinese entertainment industry that popularises the use of the
Chinese language. The awards recognise a spectrum of
entertainment ranging from music, movies, TV, radio to
concerts. Apart from honouring the best talents in Singapore
and Asia, it also helps to promote the local and regional
Chinese entertainment scene.
The qualifying period for award nomination is from 1 December
2009 to 31 December 2010. Fans get set to scream for your
favourite stars who will battle for top awards in the "Most
Popular" and "Best" categories! Awards in the "Best" categories
will be judged by a panel of renowned professionals in the
entertainment & media industry across the regions. From 7
Feb to 21 March 2011, public voting for the "Most Popular"
categories can be done through SMS or online. SEA 2011 promises
to be more exciting with the inaugural OCBC Titanium Star of

Winners of the SEA 2011 will be announced in March 2011. This
year's SEA 2011 celebration concert will be held at the
Singapore Indoor Stadium for the first time on 2 April 2011.
