I didn’t want to write this earlier because (a) I wanted to see if I would still feel the same way in the morning, or whether what I felt about the Paramore concert was just an “at the moment” feeling, (b) I really didn’t know how to describe the wonder that I saw.

We reported earlier that the Wonder Girls would be heading to South East Asia. Several hours ago, via her Twitter, Wonder Girl Yeeun (Yenny) updated with a tweet regarding the group’s travel, along with a photo. Now the girls have finally arrived in Singapore!

In the photo is Yeeun herself, along with rapper Yoobin (Yubin). Yeeun uploaded the photo and followed it up with a tweet saying, “Just about to go! Singapore here we go!” This was the last tweet she sent out before boarding her flight since phones disrupt planes’…something.

The girls are visiting Singapore for a Sony Ericsson event, marking their return to the country after over a year and a half. If you’re around, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to spot the Wonder Girls!

My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has quit the band.

Gerard Way's rockers made the announcement on their official website, Mychemicalromance.comyesterday (March 3), explaining thatBryar left four weeks ago. 

They did not reveal the reason for his departure, or announce a replacement.

"As of four weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways," wrote guitarist Frank Iero on his blog. "This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours, and expect you all to do the same."

Bryar replaced original My Chemical Romance drummer Matt Pelissier in 2004 following the band's tour of Japan that year.

My Chemical Romance are set to return with a new album later in 2010.

Israeli fans of Metallica have won their bid for cheaper tickets after staging a boycott of the group's 22 May gig in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The man behind the Ramat Gan stadium show - the band's first concert in Israel since 1999 - upset fans when he announced all tickets for the gig would sell for upwards of $159 (£106).

And more than 500Metallica-mad music fans committed to boycott the concert as part of a Facebook.com campaign.

But Tomer Mussman and Rotem Horovitz, who sparked the protest, have now agreed to drop the boycott after coming to an agreement with promoter Marcel Avram.

They write, "After a four-day campaign, tens of news items about us worldwide, over 6,000 supporters and numerous media interviews, we can say that we did it! We won!

"This afternoon, Tomer Mussman met with Mr. Gad Oron, the promoter's representative, and reached an agreement about a significant drop in ticket prices.

"We would like to personally thank Metallica and their management for directly helping us with reaching our goal and reducing the prices. We are officially asking each and every one of you to stop the boycott, and come and enjoy Metallica's concert with us on May 22... We want to thank the producers, Metallica members and management who were willing to talk to us."

"The forum. It is way under utilized by its users and hence lacked the ability to establish itself as a place for interactivity and the exchange of information."

"1. Videos too cluttered, the more 'commercialised' videos (which can be found easily in youtube or official websites) shouldnt be uploaded to the website (unless needed for articles etc) so that the more exclusive videos can be found more easily (can administer the browsing of the videos page more conveniently).  2. The slow bandwidth can be improved to make surfing the website a more pleasant experience."

"Not much updates on the local scene here. Forums are quite dead since lesser people know about this site"


Question 8: In what ways can Live4MusiC do better?

"Improve video and sound quality. Increase marketing for your website."

"Include a "Local Bands" section that can update the viewers with the band's press releases, upcoming gigs, album launches etc (band interviews could be done too!). This can give some exposure to the local bands as well as allow the viewers to know more about the local music scene. Its not as dead as it seems."

"Probably set up an emailing service that helps to inform if any of your favorite acts will be coming to Singapore. As it make it customized to it's users favorite bands."

U2 were the biggest earning act in the US last year, according to a new survey. 

Bono and co made $109million (£71million) from record sales, touring and royalties, according toBillboard's Top 40 Money Makers list.

The rest of the top five was made up by Bruce Springsteen ($57.6million),Madonna ($47.2million), AC/DC($43.6million) and Britney Spears($38.8million).

Coldplay were the biggest earning UK band, raking in $27.3million, while the late Michael Jacksongrossed $17.3million.

It is the fourth edition of the chart-compiler's annual countdown of the highest earners in music.

The organisation's formula for working out the list is "top secret" but is based around money earned from all methods of selling music, along with publishing and touring.
