The Wreckage (Deathcore)
By Live4MusiC
"Most bands they tend to sound like, we want to be the best. It's not about being the best, it's about being what you're capable of, and what you can achieve so if you go to the full extent to what u want to achieve, definitely you can go way further than that." - Shariq, The Wreckage Vocalist

"Best Of Olivia" Album
By Lydia
This "Best Of Olivia" album is out in stores now and is definitey a must-have for music-lovers who love soothing, jazzy, soulful music that can ease and comfort your soul. It is rather popular as I had made wasted trips to 2 CD stores only to come out empty-handed because this cd had been grabbed off the shelves totally, before I could finally get a copy for my very own.
Rocktober Fest Featuring: The Raindogs
By Yuda
Expect to hear tunes from John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Bic Runga etc from this band =)
Hailing from the tiny island of Singapore, the musical collective was formed in 1998, guided by a deep-rooted interest in blues, jazz, funk, pop and rock.
Inspired by the spirit of multi-award winning band Toto, where each
member is a session musician, The Raindogs’ are also sought after by
other local acts, and several members have guested on local gigs throughout
the band’s existence.
The core focus of the band is very much on amalgamating each member’s
musical influences into one infectious groove, which has won, and continues
to win them, numerous fans.

ZAKK WYLDE in Singapore!
By Yuda
Administration wasn't handled the best. Think there were several instances when someone who RSVP-ed before the deadline didn't get any confirmation. That's pretty sad. The ladies handling the RSVP today wasn't the friendliest either. Luckily for the person-in-charge, Adam, I think from Swee Lee who was really understanding and let my friend in.

The Killers Taking Break This Year
By Yuda
The Killers are taking a long break once they've wrapped-up their current tour of Australia.
The exhausted Las Vegas rockers have barely had two minutes to relax, having toured the world repeatedly in the last six years - so now plan to take a well-earned rest for the rest of the year.
Guitarist Dave Keuning explains: "I'm not sure if people are aware of it but this is probably our last shows for a while. Unless some surprise thing comes up but most likely these are our last shows for a while. We're having a break."
Keuning told the AAP from Las Vegas on Wednesday (January 13): "We haven't had a break in quite a while. It's just been touring and making records and on and on and on. It's been like six years just kind of connected together.
"There hasn't been much time where we haven't been either touring or taking time to make another record. It's like people just expect us to do that non-stop till we die, but we just want a little bit of time off, just to be myself and do what I want to do for a little bit."
Thanks for the report to Angryape.com.
