Yeah that’s Jasmine Tye, the bubbly, sweet faced teen who exhibited exceptional confidence each time she took on the stage. No surprise at all for her amazing achievement, clinching the 2nd runner up for Singapore Idol Season 2 in 2006.
Well, there’s good news for Jasmine’s fans, you are cordially
invited to her very own concert, “A Cozy Affair” on the
2nd of December 2009. She will be doing her version of
billboard covers and some of her originals, together with some of
her fellow artistes from NUS Voices Group and NUS Dance Alumni.
Furthermore, this will be a charity event and profits will be
channeled to the victims affected by the recent earthquakes and
tsunamis (Indonesia).
You can expect more than vocal entertainment that night,
vivacious dance performances and surprise feats would be
accompanied to assure you a very fulfilling evening. Just the
event for entertainment-deprived students, exams over for most of
you ya?

Jasmine will be doing Chinese songs too in “A Cozy Affair” and she is working on both her English and Chinese repertoire. She emerged as one of the finalists for Stardust 2008, a Chinese singing competition organized by music producer Lee Wei Song. Alright, we've got a bilingual star in the making.
