This "Best Of Olivia" album is out in stores now and is definitey a must-have for music-lovers who love soothing, jazzy, soulful music that can ease and comfort your soul. It is rather popular as I had made wasted trips to 2 CD stores only to come out empty-handed because this cd had been grabbed off the shelves totally, before I could finally get a copy for my very own.

I first heard Olivia Ong's song when I was in my friend's car, and boy was I really amazed and totally captivated with her pristine, soothing, voice that seems to  have caught my attention from whatever I was doing, and immersed myself into the feeling and melody of the song. And did I mentoin that I was really grateful to my friend for playing that song!

When I got back, I started to research on Olivia Ong online, and I learnt that she is actually a Singaporean singer, who went to Japan to develop her english singing career at the age of 15! That explains some of the half-japanese-half-english yet still captivating songs in her album like "Sweet Memories"  (which I started to fall in love with from the first time) and "Fall In Love".

Before I knew it, this album was released and it is awesome for a Olivia Ong fan like me with tight budget constraints (due to poor financial planning=( ), because it is a compilation of the greatest songs by Olivia Ong from the past 7 English CD albums she had released so far.

01. Sweet Memories (Japanese)
02. Sometimes When We Touch
03. Love Fool
04. Kiss of Life
05. For Your Babies
06. Fly Me To The Moon
07. True Colours
08. L.O.V.E
09. My Favourite Things
10. I'll Move On
11. First of May
12. Driving
13. Feelin' So Good
14. Fall In Love (Japanese)

Bonus Tracks :

15. Butterfly (Feat. Olivia with Mirai Girls)
16. I'll Get Back To You (taken from the Japanese album release titled "Tamarillo")

Some of my favorite songs are "Sometimes When We Touch" which she did a sweeter, captivating rendition of Dan Hill's song. Also, her "Fly Me To The Moon" song is also my favourite!

"Best Of Olivia" album is definitely a must-have in your car, laptop, mp3 or ipod, whenever you feel like chilling with the blues and listening to music that is so soothing that can set you in peace, and lighten your mood.

Love It! Love Olivia!
