"
To say we have a goal of course it's good to have a goal so we can work towards the goal, but in some situations you just don't need a goal, you just have to go until you cannot go anymore."  - Saiful, Cranium Carnage Vocalist.

Main Influences:

As I Lay Dying, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage etc

Line-Up:
- Saiful (Vocals)
- Kid (Guitar)
- Aiz (Drums)
- Aeroi (Bass)

Live4MusiC: How were you guys formed?

Saiful: I've been close friends with Aeroi cause we are poly mates

Kid: By the way, the 3 of us are brothers (Kid, Aiz, Aeroi)

Live4MusiC: So how does the metal scene here compare to the general music scene in general?

Saiful: It's hard to say. It's actually up to one's perspective. One thing in common, we're all music. But sadly, to say, in Singapore the metal scene is not as big as the alternative scene as you can see in BayBeats, only this year there's is going to be metal bands. So the metal scene we can say we are proud that it's coming up.

Live4MusiC: So what's the bands long-term goals?

Saiful: In 5 years still in this haircut, still rocking with this band, get our album out. We want to go outside Singapore. We want to progress as much as we can. To say we have a goal of course it's good to have a goal so we can work towards the goal, but in some situations you just don't need a goal, you just have to go until you cannot go anymore.

Live4MusiC: So how many EPs/Albums have you all had?

Saiful: We do not have any yet but we have 3 strong originals and we have 2 more coming up. So we aim to make our record next year. We don't want to go to the short EP stage then album.

Live4MusiC: Any challenges you all are facing so far?

Kid: NS

Saiful: But i'm glad to say that even though we're in NS we still can jam every week, we're still having gigs. Actually I just booked out in the morning and I don't feel that tired because I just want to rock tonight. It's not really a big problem, it's in the mind.

Live4MusiC: How do you find the gigs that have been happening in Singapore so far?

Saiful: I'm glad to see that Singapore are really bringing in good bands like during the taste of chaos, they brought in As I Lay Dying.

Live4MusiC: If there was one band you want to see in Singapore what would it be?

Cranium Carnage: Lamb of God

Live4MusiC: Finally any shoutout?

Saiful: Soundgrooves, thanks for letting us rock here. Honestly, from our hearts, because when we auditioned we were like did we screw up etc. But the period leading to today they were really nice, updating us on meeting, confirmation, you can just call them up if you just need to enquire, which is damn good. You cannot have the barrier whereby this is the organizer and this is the performer. You have to be like one big chunk of family so Soundgrooves is doing great. Thanks to Rezo, Reza, Hafiz (pardon the spelling). They really made us feel like our efforts really paid off

Here's the detailed interview on video for those interested! =)
