The quartet -- frontman Scott Weiland, guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo, and drummer Eric Kretz -- is the subject of SPIN's June cover story, on newsstands May 27. In his first assignment for SPIN, The Adderall Diaries author Stephen Elliott chronicles the comeback of a band, who -- despite a very delicate touring situation, in which Weiland is separated from the other three members -- have managed to thrive and record one of the best albums of their career.
