Judas Priest Epitaph World Tour with Lamb of God - Review
This is a night many would never have appeared in anyone's wildest
dreams. It is the Classic Heavy Metal Band, Judas Priest's fare
well tour. And to make the night even more special, it was graced
by a much more modern metal in Lamb of God.

As the skies prepared to turn into darkness, Lamb of God took the stage and kicked off with their opening track in resolution, Desolution! If you haven't gotten your hands on their new album, don't wait no longer!
This was followed by another track from their new album, Ghost Walking, before kicking into one of the crowd favourites, Walk With Me In Hell!
At this point I couldn't take it anymore and decided to join in the mosh pit. This review might very well have ended here because a couple of hundred people lost their lives in the pit as sacrifice. Thankfully, I survived.
The Lamb of God of course couldn't have ended without the circle pits of Redneck and the wall of death during the epic Black Label! At this point of time all the Lamb of God fans must be happy they survived...but wait....there's another 140min of Judas Priest!!
As the Epitaph curtains came down in preparation for the legends, the crowd could wait no more and the Rapid Fire began!! You could just feel the adrenaline when the curtains came down.

It was non-stop action and the action just kept getting better! Rob Halford was at the top of his game with his insanely high shrieks that are honestly metal as hell! These guys really show us metal isn't always about speed and aggression. For Judas Priest, it's elegant and grooving music turned heavy. Scott Travis was rock solid on the drums while Glenn Tipton and Downing's replacement, Richie Faulkner traded solos all night! Not to forget, the only founding member of the band left, Ian Hill, quietly at his comfortable spot but you know he's the man.

For a band that started in the 70s (1969 to be exact) these guys sure are still kicking some serious asses. What touches me time and time again is the gathering of fans from all ages and all walks of life as a happy caucasian man was saying "I've been listening to these guys for 30 years!". And you see teenagers around as well as people who are somewhere in the middle like me. The community is just amazing.
Epic moment started from the singalong of Breaking The Law followed by Painkiller, Hellion/Electric Eye and when the Harley was activated, Hell Bent For Leather! And when Rob Halford came out with the Singapore flag on his shoulders, the friends just went wild!

The night ended with Living After Midnight as the encore as we savour this rare moment in Singapore's metal history!

Thank you so much for this epic night LAMC! And two horns up for all who turned up! You guys are insane! m/
Thanks Donald Soh for some of the superb shots!
