Letter From An Elton John Fan

Dear Sir/Mdm,

May I refer you to Sir Elton John concert in Singapore on 20 Nov 2011.

Kindly be more aggressive in your promtion of Sir EJ concert in Singapore.

When EJ was in Singpaore 3 years ago, it was all quiet on the Singapore front, to borrow a song EJ wrote in the 1980s, "All Quiet on the Western Front".

I hope that the re-worked Ds will include gems which EJ never or seldom sings such 'Too Low for Zero, "One more Arrow", "Friends" (1971), "Satorial Eloquence", "Ego", "All Quiet on the Western Front" and many more from his new albums, "The Captain and the kid" and "The Union" which I am sad to note UM hardly promotes them in Singapore. Unwise, isn't it? I know UM is coming up with a set of re-worked or re-mastered CDs of EJ. But it is not enough.

Kindly impress on EJ that for his concert here in Singapore that while fans welcome his greatest hits, we want to listen to not only the hits but also the above rarely-played  songs.

Kindly work with MediaCorp to play the above-rarely-played songs as well as his latest albums on MediaCorp Gold FM.

Thank you.
