3rd trip to Fort Canning in 2 months? Speaks volumes about the live music scene over here despite the less than healthy economy =)

Mr. Big, setting foot in Singapore for the 2nd time with a reunion tour featuring an all-original line-up! After several events with the priority queue system, I still must say it's something not executed well at all, or was it even executed? Makes no difference if you hold the early-bird or standard tickets (Other than the price of course).

Beer prices were also way too expensive =( $10 for a cup God....please include bundling pricing for sad souls who intend to drink more! That would really help a lot!

The band has been around for like forever, but they don't look and act their age at all! Opening up with the Electric Drill, something I've been thinking of in my sleep for the past month or so! Woo!

The whole set was about 2 hrs of non-stop action not just song after song but with special segments like Billy Sheehan vs Paul Gilbert Duel, Pat Torpey Drum solo, Twin-neck guitars etc! Something best seen live =)

These guys were absolutely on top of their game. Pin-point precision playing from Paul Gilbert from songs like Green Tinted Sixties Mind matched by some of the most skilful Bass techniques! Not to forget of course the heartbeat of the band Pat Torpey and the forever sexy and husky voice of the band, Mr Eric Martin!

Towards the end of the show, a cover of Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water was played! But guess what? Paul Gilbert on Drums, Billy Sheehan on Vocals, Eric Martins on Guitar, Pat Torpey on Bass!! That definitely sent chills down my spine! Not forgetting a mash up of songs like ACDC's Highway to Hell as well with Paul Gilbert singing! Man these entire band can do everything!

As usual, I don't write a lot and will just let you guys be entertained by the footages =)

This is really one hell of a show for the fans in Singapore and undoubtedly one of the most talented bands I've ever came across, much less witnessed with my naked eyes!
