The first ever event organized by Live4MusiC hoping to bring good fun and experience to both performers as well as music lovers, proudly sponsored by a new bar in town, Maska! 



The line-up of amazing bands we got from the auditions almost guarantees a night of great music and awesome performances with the likes of Hollowpoint, The Raindogs, KR Rockers, and Stargazers.

Bustling with excitement as early as 8pm while the crowd eagerly anticipates all the great music, and not to forget, all the fun and drinks that's awaiting the crowd! 

The early birds were of course entitled to Heineken 2-for-1 promotion as promised while those who RSVP-ed on this very website had the privilege of having happy hour prices the entire night! Not to forget! The race to chalk up the highest bill of the night for a free bottle of house-pour! =)





First up was Hollowpoint, who gave the night a rocking good start with their alternative rock tunes from Incubus, Chris Daughtry, Velvet Revolver etc! The sound of the band was huge and it certainly set the tone for things to come. 







This was followed by the most experienced and accomplished band of the night, The Raindogs! Bringing the volume down but definitely pushed the quality to higher levels. Frontwoman, Victoria, definitely stole the show with her mesmerizing voice, matched with an ever-amiable smile that definitely permeated the entire venue. 



And what's a Rocktober Fest without a beer drinking competition??? Next up was a team relay where each team, made up of a guy and a girl, took turns to finish a pint of Heineken each! The girls really gave it their all and the winner came out with....MORE BEER!! =) *Salutes* 





Now for the 2nd half of the night. The band from NUS Kent Ridge Hall, The KR Rockers! The biggest band that night with 2 vocalists, 2 guitarists, a bassist, a drummer, and a keyboardist. With the crowd having a good dosage of beer already, they definitely peaked the night with all-time crowd favourite, Sweet Child o' Mine! 

Then it's drinks time again as we gave away a free Waterfall just to make sure someone gets home drunk =)





And then the last band, Stargazers, who were definitely the loudest of the night with songs like Smoke on the Water, Holy Diver, The Trooper etc. Despite some of the crowd leaving halfway, due to work the next day (not cause we suck I hope hehe), many still stayed behind to finish of their dosage of Rocktober Fest! 





Despite being a Thursday, the turnout was amazing. We hope everyone had a good time and thank everyone for their support! Special mention to the bands, Hollowpoint, The Raindogs, KR Rockers, and Stargazers! And not to forget the sponsor of the event, Maska!
