So Live4MusiC's privileged enough to be invited to the launch of this awesome live music bar at Clarke Quay founded by the man behind legendary Blues Rock bar Crazy Elephant, Keef Ong.
The moment we saw the description, we never doubted our attendance..."Pole Dancers with Rock Music"...like really?
The venue is pretty big with a nice dark ambience. A great stage and a huge bar right smack in the middle of the venue. If you manage to get a table, you'd pretty much have a comfortable time :)
A look at the drinks and food menu would give you a good indication of what's to come.
As you can see from the drinks menu, this place specialises in absinthe cocktails. Not for the faint-hearted. The naming convention's also in line with the name of the bar...7 Inch Bitch!
And also a very interesting food menu...Strip My Chick Down. How can you resist not ordering?
We have to thank James for inviting us and giving us the unbelievable experience of flaming Absinthe! You could see the fear in my eyes.
The sound of this venue is absolutely perfect. Of course the sound quality of the video doesn't do it justice. You HAVE to experience it for yourself!
The guest band of the night, Jihad Jones, has one of the more entertaining frontman ever moving all over the venue and interacting with the crowd.
But the main event is really the house band, Last Clean Shirt. The bassist really caught my eye with his solid thumping basslines. Insanely talented! With that said, I'm also very impressed with the vocalists singing capabilities and the shredder on lead guitars!
The crowd at this place is no doubt all ready for straight forward in your face rock and you'd be sure to find yourself in the midst of like-minded people.
There are not many rock venues in Singapore and Se7en 1nch is one of them!
