The Very First Live4MusiC Spotlight!
When: 20th November 2009, Friday
Where: Maska bar (50, Armenian Street, Opposite Substation)
Line-Up:
1030pm - 1130pm: Swiftblade (Acoustic Rock)
1130pm - 1230am: Jordan from Pixel Apartment (Acoustic Blues/Jazz/Rock)
1230am - 130am: DELTA (Classic, Experimental, Pop, Modern, Progressive, Top 40's, Jazz, Pop, and Folk)
This is the first rendition of our very own Live4MusiC spotlight whereby talented bands are given an opportunity to showcase their musicianship! Through this, we hope to give experience and exposure to bands, identify talented bands, and of course most importantly, to have fun!
Swiftblade (1030pm - 1130pm)
Expect to hear modern rock tunes from Daughtry, The Calling, Keane, 3 Doors Down etc!
Performing regularly at Live @ Farrer Park and having performed at many other popular joints, Swiftblade will touch your hearts with their down-to-earth and soulful performances.
Jordan from Pixel Apartment (1130pm - 1230am)
Expect to hear tunes from John Mayer, Five For Fighting, Julie London etc! And of course some of his originals!
Jordan and his 2-piece band Pixel Apartment are 2 extremely talented musicians being part of the NOISE Apprenticeship Programme and having played gigs at The Esplanade Waterfront. To top it off, they also have some impressive original compositions.
DELTA (1230am - 130am)
Expect songs from....well...if you can name it, they probably can play it =)
Groovee Groove, led by vocalist Jazz, is an extremely versatile and talented band backed by lots of playing experience around the region. They are looking to reach a wider audience with their musical influences and will definitely blow your minds on Friday!
So come down to Maska this Friday! A night of music not to be missed!
