Expect to hear tunes from John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Bic Runga etc from this band =)

Hailing from the tiny island of Singapore, the musical collective was formed in 1998, guided by a deep-rooted interest in blues, jazz, funk, pop and rock.

Inspired by the spirit of multi-award winning band Toto, where each
member is a session musician, The Raindogs’ are also sought after by
other local acts, and several members have guested on local gigs throughout
the band’s existence.

The core focus of the band is very much on amalgamating each member’s
musical influences into one infectious groove, which has won, and continues
to win them, numerous fans.

Currently comprising

Stewart de Souza on bass/vocals;
Gary Gan on drums;
Lam Huei Li on keyboards,
Chris Peter on vocals/guitar,

and Clement Teo on guitar/vocals.

The six-piece is a powerhouse to watch ‘live’ – comfortable stretching their funk chops on numbers such as Jason Mraz’s ‘Mr. Curiosity’ or going completely bossa- chilled on Taylor Swifts’ “Teardrops on My Guitar’.

Recent addition Victoria is a 26 year-old singer-songwriter who has played at the M Hotel, the Esplanade, Zouk and Balaclava.

Occasionally wielding a guitar, she typically sings pop-rock and folk, but isn't afraid to try the occasional Mando- pop number. She also plays the piano and violin.

Over the years, The Raindogs have performed at the outdoor theatre at the
Esplanade waterfront, the MoSaic festival at the Esplanade, Rock On
Singapore, Yello Jello (Clarke Quay), the Prince of Wales pub, LadyFest
(Home Club), Jazzpirations@Marine Cove, and The Third Place.

In 2006, they performed at the inauguration of the new Serangoon
Community Club, which was officially opened by Senior Minister Goh Chok
Tong.

They are also keen songwriters, and are working on original songs for public
performance in 2010.

Live4MusiC would like to thank them for agreeing to be part of our first ever event!
